  1. Remove the paper from the tray.

  2. Grasp the jammed paper by both corners and pull.

  3. Reinsert the paper in Tray 1.

  4. Confirm that the paper guides are against the paper without bending it and that the paper does not extend above the fill tabs.

  5. Press HP 3550 3700 checkmark Jam in Tray 1 to resume printing.
